Star Wars The Force Unleashed

Star Wars The Force Unleashed

A Star Wars game on Wii would probably be the most anticipated and exciting idea. For all thoughs weird Star Wars fanatics that get dressed up in the costumes etc this game would be the ultimate. Funnily enough though we picked it up on the day of it's release with out having to pre order it. The reason could be because it is set between episodes 3 and 4 so it is not a true original. Anyway to the game.

I haven't played it that much but from what I gather it is another button mashin Wii Remote swining game like Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Although with that in ming it is still quite fun.

The stroy behind it is that you are Darth Vaders apprentice and you are basicly cleaning up all of the old Jedi that are still around.

All in all it's not bad. I will expand on this review a little later. As I said I haven't really played it.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl

Super Smash Brothers Brawl

This weekends entertainment was in the form of a Wii game, Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

After reading countless reviews on how this is one of the must have games for any Wii owner I thought well it is about time that I actually check it out.

I started the game off in the Sequence game play mode. To be honest I have played it and passed quite a few levels. Although it is fun it gets a bit boreing. The funny thing is that although the Wii doesn't have the power of the PS3 and Xbox 360, the game play is kind of 2d. If memory serves me correct even the PS1 & PS2 had 3D fighting games. The graphics are kind of like the SNES Mortal Kombat which everyone had back in the day. I am sure it is a little better then that but you get my drift.

Next up I decided to play a "Classic" match which is a one-on-one, two-on-two etc.. type game where you fight through. I must have had it set to easy or something but it didn't take long for me to beat the opponents.

Although this review seems quite negative I can still see my self sitting down later today and just having a go. Somehting about just running through levels killing little weired Nintendo creations has some fun to it, but I don't know how long the novelty will last!
